Privacy Policy
Effective October 17, 2026
11172 (“the app”) is an iPad app that turns handwriting written with Apple Pencil into a font. The app does not collect personal data.
1. Information collected
None. The app does not collect or send any personal data — no name, email, device identifier, location or usage data. There is no account, no advertising, analytics or tracking code, and the app does not connect to the internet.
2. Information kept on the device
The strokes you write (position, pressure and tilt), the fonts you make and the app’s settings are stored only in the app’s storage on your iPad. They are not sent to anyone, including the developer, and are deleted when you delete the app. If device backups (such as iCloud Backup) are on, iOS may include them in your own backup like any other app’s data.
3. Handwriting check
To see whether a cell reads as its character, the app uses Apple’s Vision framework on the iPad (the green dots on the board). The images never leave the device.
4. Installing the font
“iPad에 설치” (Install on iPad) hands Safari a configuration profile containing your font from an address that exists only inside the iPad (127.0.0.1). The connection never leaves the iPad, and the profile contains nothing but the font. You can remove the font at any time by deleting the profile in Settings › General › VPN & Device Management.
5. Sharing
A font (TTF) or installation file goes to an app or person only when you send it yourself with the share button.
6. Children
The app collects no one’s personal data, children’s included.
7. Changes
Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
