11172는 Apple Pencil로 열 문장을 따라 쓰면 내 손글씨로 한글 11,172자와 숫자·영문·기호가 든 폰트(TTF)를 만들어 주는 iPad 앱이에요.

필요한 것

폰트 만들기

  1. 원고지의 회색 모범 글자를 따라 써요. 주황 상자는 지금 쓸 자모(초성·중성·받침)의 자리예요.
  2. 한 글자를 쓰고 펜을 잠깐 떼면 폰트가 다시 만들어지고, 패널의 미리보기에 바로 보여요.
  3. 10문장과 숫자·기호·영문 페이지를 쓰면 한글 11,172자와 숫자·영문·기호가 모두 만들어져요.
  4. 어색한 글자는 ‘보충’ 페이지의 ＋ 칸에 다시 쓰면 그 모양으로 바뀌어요.

iPad에 설치하기

  1. 패널의 ‘iPad에 설치’ → ‘Safari에서 받기’를 누르고, Safari에서 ‘허용’을 누르세요.
  2. 설정 앱 맨 위의 ‘프로파일이 다운로드됨’ → ‘설치’ → 암호 → ‘설치’를 누르세요. ‘서명되지 않음’은 이 iPad에서 만든 파일이라서 그래요.
  3. Pages·Keynote처럼 폰트를 고르는 앱에서 내 폰트 이름을 고르세요.

자주 묻는 질문

설치한 폰트가 안 보여요.

설정 › 일반 › VPN 및 기기 관리에 ‘(폰트 이름) — 11172 손글씨 폰트’가 설치돼 있는지 확인하고, 쓰려는 앱을 완전히 닫았다가 다시 여세요. 폰트를 고를 수 있는 앱에서만 보여요. 받은 설치 파일은 8분 안에 설치하지 않으면 지워지니, 그때는 다시 받으세요.

폰트를 다시 만들었어요. 다시 설치해야 하나요?

네. 같은 이름으로 다시 설치하면 새 폰트로 바뀌어요.

폰트를 지우고 싶어요.

설정 › 일반 › VPN 및 기기 관리에서 그 프로파일을 삭제하세요. 앱을 지워도 이미 설치한 폰트는 남아 있으니 같은 곳에서 지우세요.

Mac이나 다른 기기에서도 쓰고 싶어요.

패널의 공유 버튼으로 TTF 파일을 보내 그 기기에서 설치하세요. Mac에서는 TTF 파일을 열면 서체 관리자가 설치해 줘요.

글씨는 어디에 저장되나요?

이 iPad 안에만 저장되고 어디로도 보내지 않아요. 앱을 지우면 함께 지워져요. 자세한 내용은 개인정보 처리방침을 보세요.

11172 is an iPad app: trace ten sentences with Apple Pencil and it makes a font (TTF) of your handwriting with all 11,172 Hangul syllables plus digits, Latin letters and punctuation. The app is in Korean.

Requirements

Making a font

  1. Trace the gray model letters on the board. The orange box marks where the next jamo (initial, vowel or final) goes.
  2. Lift the pen for a moment after a letter: the font is rebuilt and shows in the panel’s preview.
  3. Ten sentences plus the digit, symbol and Latin pages give all 11,172 syllables, digits, Latin letters and symbols.
  4. Rewrite an awkward letter in a ＋ cell on the last page (보충) and the font takes that shape.

Installing on the iPad

  1. Tap “iPad에 설치” (Install on iPad) → “Safari에서 받기” (Get in Safari), then Allow in Safari.
  2. In Settings, tap Profile Downloaded at the top → Install → passcode → Install. “Not Signed” is expected: the file was made on this iPad.
  3. Pick your font’s name in any app with a font picker, such as Pages or Keynote.

Questions

I can’t find the installed font.

Check that “(font name) — 11172 손글씨 폰트” is installed in Settings › General › VPN & Device Management, then quit and reopen the app you want to use it in. Only apps that let you choose fonts show it. A downloaded profile is removed if it isn’t installed within 8 minutes — download it again.

How do I remove the font?

Delete its profile in Settings › General › VPN & Device Management. Deleting the app does not remove an installed font.

Can I use the font on a Mac?

Send the TTF with the panel’s share button and open it on the Mac; Font Book installs it.

Where is my handwriting stored?

Only on this iPad; it is never sent anywhere and is deleted with the app. See the Privacy Policy.
